Fridge AI allows you to take or select a photo of your fridge or ingredients.

Photos are only accessed when you choose to use the scanning feature.

Fridge AI does not save fridge photos permanently after they have been processed.

Photos are not used for advertising and are not sold to third parties.

Please avoid including people, documents, addresses, or other sensitive information in photos submitted to Fridge AI.

You may remove camera or photo-library access at any time through your device settings. Some scanning features may not work without these permissions.

4. Information You Create in the App

When using Fridge AI, you may create or provide information such as:

This information is used only to provide and personalise Fridge AI’s features.

6. Artificial Intelligence Processing

• The meal or cooking request you enter

Only information necessary to provide the requested feature is submitted.

AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. You should always confirm ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, cooking instructions and food-safety requirements before preparing or consuming food.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Fridge AI does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

We may receive limited information needed to provide subscription access, such as:

• Subscription status

• Product purchased

• Purchase or renewal status

• Transaction or account identifiers

• Subscription expiration date

This information is used only to manage access to paid features and provide customer support.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

Fridge AI uses third-party service providers to operate certain features. These may include:

• Apple, for App Store distribution, subscriptions and payments

• Supabase, for account authentication, databases and backend services

• Adapty, for subscription access and paywall management

• Google AI services, for image analysis and AI-generated meal functionality

These providers may process limited information necessary to perform their services.

They are permitted to process information only in accordance with their own privacy terms, contractual obligations and applicable law.

Fridge AI does not allow these providers to use your personal information for unrelated third-party advertising.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share information only:

• With service providers necessary to operate Fridge AI

• When you request a feature that requires third-party processing

• To comply with a legal obligation

• To protect users, Fridge AI or others from fraud, abuse or security threats

• As part of a business transfer, merger or acquisition, subject to appropriate privacy protections

10. Data Retention

Your name, email address and saved account content are retained while your Fridge AI account remains active.

We may retain limited information for longer where necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations

• Resolve disputes

• Prevent fraud or misuse

• Enforce our agreements

• Protect the security of our systems

When you delete your account, associated personal information will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, unless continued retention is required by law.

Temporary copies may remain in secure backups until those backups are routinely deleted or replaced.

11. Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your Fridge AI account using the account-deletion option available inside the app.

Deleting your account will permanently remove your account and associated personal data, except for information we are legally required to retain.

Deleting your Fridge AI account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple Account subscription settings.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

Users are responsible for:
